Vortex Optics Micro 6X Red Dot Sight Magnifier with Quick-Release MountMounting The Micro 6X Magnifier
The Micro6x Magnifier does not come mounted to the flip mount. This allows the user to select their preferred mounting height. The Micro6x Magnifier can be mounted to flip to the right or the left based on shooter preference. To attach, open the Flip Mount and position the magnifier’s base so it can flip to the right or left based on preference. Insert mounting hardware through the selected riser plates and tighten using the included 3mm Hex Wrench. Tighten to 20 in-lbs, or 15 in-lbs if using a thread locking compound.
Mount Height Options
Absolute Co-Witness Height with Flip Mount: Positions the magnifier at 1.46" (37mm) from the top of the base to the optic’s center. For this height, do not install the included Riser Plates, and use the Absolute Co-Witness hardware.
Lower 1/3 Co-Witness Height with Flip Mount and Riser Plate: Positions the magnifier at 1.57" (40mm) from the top of the base to the optic’s center. For this height, install the Lower 1/3 Riser Plate between the Micro6x Magnifier and the Flip Mount and use the Lower 1/3 Co-Witness hardware.
1.93” Height with Flip Mount and Riser Plates: Positions the magnifier at 1.93" (49mm) from the top of the base to the optic’s center. For this height, install the 1.93" Riser Plate between the Micro6x Magnifier and the Flip Mount and use the 1.93" Riser Plate hardware.
