The Volquartsen Summit bolt action 22 LR receiver is based on a concept originally developed by Primary Weapons Systems (PWS). The Volquartsen Summit receiver represents the combination of PWS innovative design and 40+ years of Volquartsen's own rimfire experience.
Designed for both competition shooting as well as small game hunting, this unique receiver is a straight-pull bolt action inspired by the 10/22 style platform. The CNC-machined receiver features an integral 20 MOA Picatinny Rail, making it the perfect rifle for any rimfire long range shooting. When used with a suppressor the only sound that is heard is whatever comes out of the suppressor as the bolt does not move until you cycle the action, much like a normal bolt action rifle.
