Made in America, these Scope Mounts for the Steyr Merkel MHR 16, made by Talley Manufacturing, offer a unique and simplified one-piece scope ring and base solution for Steyr Merkel MHR 16 actions. This simplified mounting system eliminates the possibility of an “out of alignment” interface or “loose connection” between the ring and base of traditional two-piece designs. Ultimately this provides more strength and durability than rival steel rings and bases, but with a lighter overall weight. Fully CNC machined from lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum to the industries tightest tolerances, this rigid scope mounting platform requires no lapping and is ready to go out of the box.Talley's Lightweight Scope Mount features a unique, one-piece construction extruded from 7000 series alloy and precision CNC-machined to its final design. It has no joint between the scope and the rifle which ultimately provides more strength and durability than most steel rings and bases, but with a lighter overall weight. Designed to fit the Steyr Merkel MHR 16. This model is compatible with Savage A17/A22 with round receiver and Accutrigger rifles, has a low ring height and 30mm diameter.

1 The height is measured from the top of the action/ receiver to the bottom of the scope tube at the respective mounting location
2 Hole spacing measured center to center.
3 Extended rings are typically used with long or magnum length actions when mounting a scope with a shorter main tube length. Front mount is offset by approximately 3/8 of an inch. Double Extended add approximately 3/8of an inch to each ring.
