HOW TO USE YOUR LEATHER STROPPING HONE
This leather stropping hone is designed to be used with any Lansky Controlled Angle System to achieve the ultimate razor-sharp edge on your blades. Here's how to use it:
1. Attach the hone to a Guide Rod (or apply jeweler's rouge to the Leather Stropping Hone if you're using it dry).
2. Using the previously established angle, insert the guide rod into the clamp's guide hole.
3. Unlike other hones, the Leather Stropping Hone requires you to pull the hone away from the edge of the blade. This action will polish any burr or wire edge off your blade, leaving you with a pristine polished finish.
It's important to note that you should not use abrasive paste as it will prematurely wear the leather hone. With the right technique and care, the Lansky Leather Stropping Hone will help you achieve razor-sharp edges with ease.
WARNING: This Leather Stropping Hone is designed for use only on blades that are already extremely sharp. Improper use may result in injury. Always follow instructions provided with the product and use caution when handling sharp objects.
