The Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, allowing flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces overall mass and often doesn’t obstruct factory iron sights. Installation requires 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue Loctite for added security. When zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, consider zeroing at 200 yards1.
