It is a solid aluminum rod with a special jag on one end that is threaded to allow for the attachment of the PalmSaver knob. This knob is configured to protect your palm while seating bullets and can be left on the gun while firing. Quickly load a second shot with the rod removed and use the included 4-inch jag extension to convert your ramrod into a full-length range rod. With 10-32 threaded ends, this rod is the perfect accessory to keep your barrel clean and ready for your next shot.
